Every day at midnight India Standard Time, FriendPlay creates six brand-new daily puzzles: a five-letter Word Guess, a medium Sudoku, a 2048 board, a Minesweeper field, a 4×4 Sliding Puzzle and a Code Breaker secret. Everyone in the world gets exactly the same puzzles on the same day, so you can compare results with friends, family and colleagues. Solve a daily puzzle to start a streak, then come back tomorrow to keep it going — your streak and best streak are saved on your own device, with no account needed. When you finish, the results screen gives you a spoiler-free share card made of emoji, so you can post it to your group chat without giving the answer away. Playing again after the daily puzzle starts a normal random game, so you can keep practising. No sign-up is needed, and the puzzles are fair for everyone, because nobody can see tomorrow’s puzzle early.

Make it a habit

Pick a time that suits you — morning tea, the commute home or just before bed — and try all six daily puzzles in under fifteen minutes. Sharing your grid in a family chat is a lovely way to stay in touch.

When does the daily puzzle change?

At 00:00 India Standard Time (UTC+05:30), every day.

What counts towards my streak?

Solving a daily puzzle on consecutive days. Missing a day, or not solving the puzzle, resets the streak to zero, but your best streak is remembered.

Can I replay today's puzzle?

Your first attempt is the one that counts. After that, "Play again" gives you a fresh random puzzle for practice.

Will I lose my streak if I switch phones?

Streaks are stored in your browser on each device, so a new phone or browser starts a new streak.
